Naturopathic Mental Health Mondays: Sex Therapy

New York City based naturopathic, Dr Ivy Branin, chats with therapist Ruthie Israeli on sex therapy in the context of lockdown during the COVID pandemic and pre and post pregnancy.

To know more about what sex therapy is, what are the benefits, what are the misconceptions about sex, what are the factors that contribute to sexual difficulties and when is the best time to talk about these issues, watch the video below where I chatted with Sex Therapist, Ruthie Israel.

Ruthie is a clinical social worker and therapist with a special focus on women’s health. In addition to her masters in clinical social work, she completed a four-year postgraduate training in couples and family therapy at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. Her background includes working with individuals around issues related to anxiety and depression, to couples struggling with infidelity, sexual dysfunction, to families coping with adolescence, & parenting.

This is part of my “Mental Health Mondays” wherein each Monday, I will be having a conversation with my favorite mental health therapists so that you can better navigate emotionally and mentally during these very stressful times.
