Our Philosophy
At Simplicity Health Associates, we believe that the solution to feeling good and getting healthy can be simple. Using the fundamentals of naturopathic medicine, we provide a clear process that leads to a healthier, happier life. We are committed to meeting our patients where they are, no matter where they are located, and guiding them beyond where they thought they could be.
Our naturopathic doctors are dedicated to uncovering the root cause of illness, rather than just treating symptoms. By taking the time to understand your unique health profile, we can create a truly personalized health plan that helps you live a longer, healthier life, no matter the diagnosis.
What Is a Virtual Naturopathic Appointment?
A virtual naturopathic appointment is just like a traditional in-person visit, but conducted online via video conferencing platforms like Zoom or a simple phone call. This allows you to have your appointment from the comfort of your home or office, eliminating the need for travel.
Because our practice is fully electronic, the virtual experience is seamless. All patient information is recorded electronically, and treatment plans are sent directly to you via a secure patient portal, ensuring you have all the information you need in one place.
Benefits of Virtual Naturopathic Appointments
Choosing a virtual appointment offers numerous advantages:
No Travel Time or Costs: Skip the commute, traffic, and parking fees. You save time and money by meeting with your doctor virtually.
Convenience and Flexibility: Virtual appointments are easier to fit into your busy schedule, whether you need to squeeze in a session during your lunch break or after the kids are in bed.
Accessibility for All: Telehealth breaks down geographical barriers, allowing you to access a naturopathic doctor online even if there isn't one in your local area. Our naturopathic doctors assist patients not only across the US but also internationally.
Accommodates Mobility and Childcare Needs: For those with mobility challenges or parents who need to care for their children at home, virtual appointments provide a stress-free alternative to in-office visits.
Virtual vs. In-Person Experience
When you have a virtual appointment with one of our Naturopathic Doctors at Simplicity Health Associates, the quality of care remains the same as an in-person visit. The only real difference is that the appointment happens virtually.
Diagnostics and Labs
All lab work and diagnostic testing are managed externally, just as they would be with an in-person visit. You'll receive referrals, and the results can be easily uploaded to your patient portal for Dr. Branin, or Dr. Hoang to review.
Supplementation and Prescriptions
Physician-grade supplements are prescribed through our online dispensary, Fullscript. You'll receive your prescription electronically and can order your products directly to your home within a few business days.
Physical Exams
While traditional physical exams aren't possible, our approach to care doesn't rely on them. For conditions like acne, our naturopathic doctors can make accurate assessments through video and by reviewing before-and-after photos.
How to Prepare for Your Virtual Appointment
To get the most out of your online visit, follow these simple steps:
Prepare Your Device: Make sure your computer, tablet, or phone is charged and has a stable internet connection. If your appointment is on Zoom, download and test the software beforehand.
Submit Paperwork and Labs: Send in any past diagnostic work, lab results, and your completed new patient forms ahead of time. This allows our naturopathic doctors to review your history and prepare a more effective treatment plan.
Create a Detailed List: Compile a comprehensive list of all supplements and medications you are currently taking, including the specific brand, dose, and frequency. This is crucial to avoid any potential interactions and tailor your plan accurately. For skin conditions, also be prepared to discuss the topical products you use/ or have used.
