Naturopathic Mental Health Mondays: Mediation for Aging with Grace

Kim Brown is an expert at finding and teaching others about the healthy ways of dealing with anxiety, feelings of unworthiness, panic attacks, sadness, and anger. Because of her own personal experience, she had to learn from an early age how to cope in a healthy way.

By practicing both traditional Buddhist techniques and modern psychotherapeutic modalities, she has recovered her natural state of well being, and helps others do the same with classes, workshops, and retreats. The mindfulness techniques she practices and teaches are also essential to achieve what is called graceful aging.

On this Mental Health Monday, I sit down with Kim, and together we discuss how our minds are undeniably connected to how well we age.

This is part of my “Mental Health Mondays” wherein each Monday, I will be having a conversation with my favorite mental health therapists so that you can better navigate emotionally and mentally during these very stressful times.
