Naturopathic Mental Health Mondays: Coping with Chronic disease

  • Simplicity Health Associates 230 West 13th Street New York, NY, 10011 United States (map)

“Are you managing a chronic illness? You are not alone.

In fact, an astounding 45% of all Americans are living with one or more chronic health care conditions in the United States, mostly invisible to others. Chronic Illness impacts not only you, but all of your interpersonal relationships. It can be difficult to relate to others who do not live with this added burden. The emotional impact of living with a chronic illness can be isolating, but it does not have to be.” **

To shed light on this issue and to give us helpful insights, I will be having a conversation with psychotherapist, Jodi Taub, who works with adults, adolescents, & children cope up with chronic illness and make the journey easier.

Jodi Taub, LCSW is a psychotherapist with a private practice in NYC. She has over 23 years of direct care experience with children, adolescents, and adults. She practices individual, couples, family and group therapies. Her specialty area is chronic illness. Jodi is also an expert lecturer, published writer, and active mental health contributor for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

This is part of my “Mental Health Mondays” wherein each Monday, I will be having a conversation with my favorite mental health therapists so that you can better navigate emotionally and mentally during these very stressful times.
